This would probably stay the concert of the year: Pantera performing with their special guest Power Trip and opening act by Child Bite! Both bands were great, but Power Trip blew our minds and had an excellent performance!
Legendary heavy metal band PANTERA has unveiled plans for a European tour set to begin in early 2025, kicking off on January 21 in Helsinki. The tour will include stops in major cities such as Stockholm, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Paris, with a full list of dates available below.
This run of shows will feature original members—vocalist Philip H. Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown—joined by guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante, continuing their tribute to late founding members, drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist Dimebag Darrell.
The European leg follows PANTERA’s previously announced UK and Ireland tour dates, as well as their electrifying return to the UK at this year’s Download Festival—marking their first UK performance in decades. Metal Talk Magazine described their headline set as “a peal of thunder” that left fans eager for more. Additionally, PANTERA recently toured as special guests on Metallica’s North American stadium tour.
Pioneers of the “power groove” sound, PANTERA emerged from Arlington, Texas, with their most iconic lineup featuring founding brothers—drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist Dimebag Darrell—alongside bassist Rex Brown and vocalist Philip H. PANTERA demonstrated raw power and unparalleled strength that makes you feel like you can instantly grow a bread and fight a bear. The gig was awesome and fantastic and a huge privilege to be at the concert of such legends that not only have a great musical legacy and influence on the numerous bands around the world but also on millions of lives as their music and gigs are truly empowering. Many had many observations and criticisms, but all of them vanish when you face such legends and heroes of our youth and our lives!
When listening to Pantera at a very young age one could ask: „Why is there so much anger?“ Only when you grow up and especially get old: you finally understand. And you understand the importance of anger as it is a most powerful agent that makes you change your life and everything that bothers you so much!
Its too hard to mention all the highlights of the concert, as we had a chance to experience performances of the masterpieces: “Mouth for War”, “This Love”, “Walk”, “Fucking Hostile” and many other. So, there’s nothing more on my bucket list. This was everything! DO NOT MISS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE PANTERA LIVE!!!
