Tarja Turunen and Marko Hietala indeed created a magical evening filled with positive emotion and almost healing magic as they were both in an element to give their best. Luckily health problems were behind us and we were able to enjoy a magical evening in which we couldn’t believe that music can turn into healing power as all the songs blended into beautiful harmony to celebrate life. Love and everlasting search for happiness.
Following a series of triumphant performances across South America—where Marko Hietala joined Tarja as a special guest for multiple sold-out shows—the powerhouse duo is now gearing up to mesmerize European audiences with their electrifying collaboration. Kicking off was in Germany this September with many sold out shows. Tarja recently unveiled her first-ever greatest hits collection, “Best of Tarja – Living the Dream” and the concert setlist will featured a mix of fan-favourite tracks and personal picks from her career, many of which appear on the album. Adding to the excitement, Tarja and Marko’s latest duet “Left On Mars” has garnered widespread praise, further solidifying their status as icons in the rock and metal world.
Marko Hietala opened the set with “Frankenstein’s Wife”, and throughout many of the highlights and his witty remarks, some of the best moments were during the performances of “Rebel of the North”, “Roses From the Deep” and “The Dragon Must Die”, but there were many other highlights also.
Tarja Turunen was magnificent and fully energised and thrilled the audience to the fullest! Some of the highlights were songs performed with Marko Hietala, such as: “Planet Hell”, “Dark Star” and “Dead Promises”. Absolute peak of the concert was “Wish I Had an Angel”, Nightwish song, performed with Marko Hietala. The concert was closed with “Until My Last Breath” and it’s close to impossible to describe the magic of the atmosphere and hope, love and comfort this performance provided to the fans!!
This was truly an unforgettable evening filled with magic, positivity and love for perfection in music. This concert was highly anticipated and we truly received an unforgettable experience as these two legendary vocalists reunited on stage to create magic and uplift every single audience member.
