Considered one of the most creative and versatile modern American bands, Monster Magnet are called the pioneers of stoner rock. They are praised for the uniqueness of their sound and authenticity, witty songs and the ability to grow musically, and the band combines garage rock, progressive rock, as well as heavy metal, punk and psychedelic music.
Monster Magnet is led by the indestructible Dave Wyndorf, who said before the tour: “35 years and it feels so good! Of course, we won’t celebrate this at home with a cake and too many candles. We have to get on the bus and bring a raucous celebration to multiple locations. And it’s called a tour, specifically Monster Magnet’s 35th Anniversary European Tour. And you are invited to be part of that celebration. We can’t wait to see you. Rock on!”
Founded way back in 1989, Monster Magnet spent the first decade slowly building a career without much success, only to hit the jackpot in 1998 with the megaseller “Powertrip”, from which the big singles “Space Lord”, “Powertrip”, “Temple Of Your Dreams” and “See You In Hell”. In those years, the band toured with names such as Aerosmith, Metallica, Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson and released two more successful releases, “God Says No” and “Monolithic Baby!”. A lot of their music from that period was placed in numerous series (mostly in “Sons of Anarchy”), films, video games, and even professional wrestling. “Mastermind”, “Last Patrol” and “Mindfucker” followed, which ended up on Billboard’s top 200 albums, while the last one, “A Better Dystopia”, was classified as one of the most anticipated releases of rock and metal albums.
After already filling several times and proving that they have a loyal audience on this ground as well, cult rock machine Monster Magnet is coming back to Zagreb as part of a tour where they are celebrating 35 years. Their performances this fall are taking them around Europe, and they are planning a new meeting in Croatia for October 9 at the Boogaloo club in Zagreb, when there will be an opportunity to hear key hits from their entire career.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 10 at 10:00 a.m. at a price of 26 euros. This price will be valid until June 30, and the day after the price rises to 29 euros. On the day of the concert, their price will be 33 euros.
