Defeated Sanity!!! One of the craziest, craziest and most imaginative brutal death metal bands ever comes to visit us!
They were formed back in 1993 in cold Berlin when drummer Lille Gruber was only 11 years old. That cold evening he asked his father Wolfgang to form a band with him. The father, otherwise a jazz musician and an excellent guitarist, agrees. In 1995, when he was 13 years old, they released the first demo “Defeated”, and when he was 14, he released “Devoured by the Black”. Two years later, in 1998, they released the demo “Withdrawn from Beauty”. On these three releases, you can clearly hear the jazz influences that the father brought into the band, and Lille, then a high school student, only played attack. With this they just laid the groundwork for what follows. The first album, Prelude to Tragedy, comes out and automatically becomes a classic of the genre. They moved the sound up a notch and cranked it up even more. But what followed was even better. 3 years later they released the incredible album “Psalms of the Moribund” where they left only that pure brutal death metal and continued with it. A few years later, his father dies of cancer, and Lille continues to do all the music alone. 5 albums later, here it is in 2024. It still sounds the same, the transitions are still abnormal, it’s still brutal and pleasing to the ear. Every aspect of Defeated Sanity’s sound is aggressive, brutal and uncompromising. Whatever album comes out of the speakers will be devastating with abnormally complex guitar work, mind-numbing blast beats and the perfect amount of barbaric brutality that can only destroy the brain. One of the most classic examples of brutal death metal side by side with Disgorge, Devourment and Suffocation.

Disgorge!!!!!! Disgorge broke up unofficially back in 2006. Although the fate of the band is still unknown after 18 years, the members of Disgorge formed a “tribute” band and named it To Violently Vomit and now play Disgorge under that name. Cranial Impalement. She Lay Gutted. Consume the Forsaken. Parallels of Infinite Torture. Everything the guys from Disgorge have made is a classic. One of the first brutal death metal bands ever. They took the brutality of Suffocation and deepened it, set the standard in sound, then inspired hundreds of bands and here they come under a different name here. In addition to Disgorge, they are also members of a few other bands: Angel Ochoa is also a vocalist in Abominable Putridity and in Cephalotripsy, which he shares with Diego Sanchez. Sanchez wrote and played guitar on all 4 Disgorge albums. Diego Soria has been the bass player in Broken Hope for years, and the only non-Disgorge member is Warface’s Scott Ellis on drums. They have never been to this area

And who is visiting us? No less than one of the most powerful people in the entire brutal death metal scene! The legendary Shaun Lacanne with his one man brutal death metal band. Formed 24 years ago when Shaun went to a concert by Insidious Decrepancy (also a one man brutal death metal band) after which he was so enthralled that he started Putrid Pile as a project. He has 6 albums behind him, countless performances and tours, and among the entire brutal death scene he has become a well-known maniac whose voice ranges from the worst scream to the deepest growl. When Collection of Butchery came out in 2003, it swept everything before it. Guitar over a rhythm machine, vocals over all that. Brutal death metal for geeks. The unique sound and approach have placed him quite high among fans of brutal sound.

Another maniacs from the other side of the Atlantic, Embryonic Devourment! Formed in 2003, they have 5 albums behind them. They were very concerned about reptiles, aliens, David Icke, secret societies, etc. and they sing mostly about it if you can understand them. Their music sounds like they are waiting for the end of the world with their feet dipped in a septic tank while they look in the sky at machines coming from space and extracting the souls of all living things. It’s like watching War of the Worlds, but without the drama. Only the heartless up there.

Asylum TX is a technical death metal band from Texas. Since there are already a number of bands called Asylum, they added the suffix TX to their name relatively recently so that there is at least some difference.
They have two albums behind them. They are currently on Pathologically Explicit Recordings and focus more on technicality than brutality. They are with us for the first time, like all the other bands.
