Amorphis and Solstafir on Wednesday at Boogaloo, time table released!
The long-awaited concert of the metal classic Amorphis will finally take place this Wednesday at
Boogaloo, and they haven’t been in Zagreb for almost a decade. On their European
Icelanders Solstafir will join them on the “Halo” tour, and the Finns Lost Society will open the evening.
Before and after the bands, DJ Barby will play the hottest metal hits. Interest in
the concert is big and could be sold out, so the organizers tell everyone to do their part
provide tickets on time. They can be purchased at a pre-sale price of 31 euros in
Dirty Old Shop and through the Entrio system, and it will cost 35 euros on the day.

“Our love with Amorphis goes back to 2004, when we played with them for the first time in
Helsinki, and 10 years before that they released the classic “Tales From The 1000 Lakes”, which
had a great influence on us. We’ve watched them grow as a band year after year
we are very pleased to be with them on the tour, which seems to have been
written somewhere up there in the stars. See you Wednesday at Boogaloo, expect a real one
metal madness”, said the guys from Solstafir before the concert.
Amorphis is a Finnish heavy metal band founded in 1990 in Helsinki. Their style in the beginning
leaned more towards death metal, and over the years they became known for many styles
variations, among others they flirted with a more progressive and folk sound. As inspiration for
their songs often use the “Kalevala”, the national Finnish epic. The band is in its 33rd year of existence
released 14 albums, and the most current “Halo”, which he will promote on this occasion at Boogaloo,
saw the light of day in February last year. The band members are Tomi Joutsen (vocals), Esa
Holopainen (guitar), Tomi Koivusaari (guitar), Olli-Pekka Laine (bass), Santeri Kallio
(keyboards) and Jan Rechberger (drums).

Solstafir is an atmospheric post metal band from Iceland, founded in 1995.
Just like Amorphis, they have undergone a major change in style as they nurtured in their early days
black metal expression. Since 2011, they have been collaborating with the publishing house Season of Mist, for which they have released
four of his total seven albums. This will also be their return to Zagreb after six
year.

Lost Society is a Finnish band founded in 2010 that fosters a more modern metal sound
combining various styles. In the beginning, they were more oriented towards thrash and songs about
partying and drinking, while now they lean more towards metalcore and groove metal. They have released five so far
album, and the most current “If The Sky Came Down” from 2022 will be promoted on this big one
metalion feast in Boogaloo, organized by Hangtime Agency and Subsonic Events.
