Zadar metal festival in Močvara, with the help of local sludge champions Negative Slug.

E.N.D. (Zadar)

Also known as Evil Never Dies, E.N.D. is one of the oldest active metal bands from Croatia, founded in 1996 in Zadar. They started as a hardcore band heavily influenced by the aggressive sounds of Sick of it All and Hatebreed, and today this trio worships a complex groove, strummed tones and sizzling riffs, wrapped in their signature mix of thrash, death metal and HC punk. For all fans of Meshuggah, Napalm Death, Whitechapel and Sylosis.

This year marks 10 years since the release of the album “Illustrating Evil”, which is being reissued under the name “Re-illustrating Evil”. The remixed and remastered version will be released soon, and we believe that, along with other hits, we will experience all the beauties of this album live.

Negative Slug (Zagreb)

What more can be written about Negative Slug without already being written in the sea of events that this sludge machinery was a part of? Iron Monkey and Eyehategod teamed up closely with Crowbar and got a blend of the best that genes have to offer. Negative Slug is by far one of the most active local bands in the genre, with several European appearances. Convincing, loud, fat, groovey, fast, slow… you name it!

Arises (Zadar)

The now integrated “new” line-up of the band is one of the more active groups of people in the past few years on the local scene. There was no way we could not see them announced, and the reviews of those same concerts were always full of praise. From the energy the band has live to the convincing performance, Arises has shown that it has no intention of stopping any time soon, and who would want to? They recently released the acclaimed EP “Sessions under a pale sun”, and combined with old tracks, we can expect another high-level performance.
