The favorites of the local audience, the American-Irish band Flogging Molly, are coming back! Another fantastic performance of theirs, charged with standard energy, awaits us on Friday, June 9, as part of the tour promoting their latest album “Anthem”.
Founded in 1995 in Los Angeles, led by frontman Dave King, Flogging Molly has seven band members, and this will be their ninth performance in Croatia, including performances at festivals and solo concerts.
Their noisy punk rock inspired by traditional Irish music with the addition of Celtic instruments gave them a stamp of originality that quickly attracted audiences around the world. But underneath the upbeat and wildly fun tunes have always flowed the powerful, compelling socially and politically aware lyrics about rebellion and the need for change that associate them with the iconic Pogues and Clash.
