The American hard rock quartet Halestorm, winners of the Grammy for Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance, are returning to Zagreb and to Tvornica kulture on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
A year after they performed as special guests of the Alter Bridge group and held a memorable concert at the Dom Sportova, Halestorm are coming to Croatia for a solo performance. The band’s return to Europe will be marked by a series of big concerts, including the one at Wembley Arena in London.
Hailing from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, Halestorm is fronted by the great vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, one of the best frontwomen on the rock scene today. Along with drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith, whose family is from Zadar, together they gained a reputation as a powerful live machine.
What started as a childhood dream of Lzzy and Arejay Hale has turned into one of the most acclaimed rock bands of the past two decades, securing rave reviews for live shows all over the world, unforgettable and fierce gigs, concerts on the world’s biggest stages and singles topping the world charts. .
They have been active on the scene since the end of the 90s, but they experienced a real breakthrough around 2005, when they started intensive tours. They shared the stage with huge names such as Alice Cooper, Evanescence, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine and Alter Bridge.
The band has released five studio albums to date. They opened their catalog in 2009 with their debut “Halestorm”, and their latest release is “Back From Dead”. The great Metal Hammer included it in the list of the best metal albums last year, and the media points out that Lzzy Hale is probably the best female rock vocalist today and that the new songs come closest to their performances in terms of energy and passion.
The rock band Black Veil Brides will perform as an opening act at the concert in Zagreb’s Tvornica kulture.
