Queens Of The Stone Age, one of the biggest and most influential rock bands of recent decades, is coming to Zagreb’s Šalata Stadium on Tuesday, July 22 and Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
After last year’s concerts were canceled due to health reasons, QOTSA are scheduling new shows at the city’s favorite outdoor venue this summer.
Regularly hailed as one of the best live bands, QOTSA consists of Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore. What started as a desert gig has grown into an undeniable musical force, a group without which the world’s biggest arenas and festivals have become unthinkable, and in the coming months they will return to stages across Europe and the US.
The Zagreb performance will be a concert promotion of the last edition, but the backbone of the Queens Of The Stone Age concerts is still made up of songs written in the rock books as the best original works of the last 20 or so seasons, such as “No One Knows”, “Go With The Flow”, “Little Sister”, “My God is the Sun”, “Feel Good Hit Of The Summer”, “First It Giveth” or “Make It Wit Chu”.
QOTSA began their discographic journey with the notable debut of the same name in 1998, after which they began conquering the world. On the next four albums – the masterpieces “Rated R”, “Songs For The Deaf”, “Lullabies To Paralyze” and “Era Vulgaris” and in just seven years, the group delivered more rock hits than some bands in their entire career, and most of them are still an integral part of the set list today. Billboard’s #1 album, the brilliant “…Like Clockwork” from 2013, continued the series of releases, and two more followed, “Villains” and the current, acclaimed, “In Times New Roman…” which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album.
As an ambitious band that does not fit into any box, QOTSA has released numerous hits over the course of eight albums, with numerous Grammy nominations and regular positions on the best album charts. They are a true example of a multidimensional musical story that transcends its own genre. It is undoubtedly always about rock, but with a special musical presentation that Homme and his team can conjure up. The opportunity to experience it will be this summer at Zagreb’s Šalata Stadium.
