A new, bigger and more exciting edition of the Rijeka fantasy convention RIKON!
The new edition of the fantasy convention Rikon, a unique event in Rijeka, which in 2020 also won the title of the European fantasy convention – Eurocon, returns in full glory to the Rijeka Campus of the University of Rijeka. In addition to the well-known scientific and entertainment program, the 25th edition of Rikon brings even more content for all young and old fans of film and pop culture, social and video games, and genre literature and comics.
The return to the building of the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka from October 7 to 9 will be marked by numerous new attractions and an ever richer program. Visitors are in for an unprecedented visual spectacle that is being prepared on Saturday, October 8, and it is the first Croatian film makeup and special effects competition!
The Rikon 2022 program is rich in numerous educational content (popular and scientific lectures, panels, presentations, workshops, content for teenagers, content for children), entertainment program and competitions (quizzes, games, video game zone, board game zone, TCG zone) and accompanying program such as art exhibitions, stage program and performances, as well as a multitude of sales stands. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the offer of local craft beers and delicacies from local food-truck gastro masters.
