Celtic punk attraction: THE RUMJACKS!
After four years, Celtic punk legends The Rumjacks are returning to Zagreb to make another party to remember. The hot summer days will be additionally heated by this team, which is known for extremely energetic, fierce and cheerful live performances. The place is Močvara, and the date is August 17 (Thursday). The limited contingent of early bird tickets at the price of 17 euros has already been sold out, and you can now buy tickets at the Dirty Old Shop and through their website at the standard presale price of 20 euros. On the day, if there are any left, it will cost 24 euros.
Rumjacks was formed in 2008 in Sydney, but since a few years ago the band members have been living in Europe. So far, they have released five studio albums, two live albums and three EPs, and they will promote the most current album “Hestia” from 2021 on this occasion in Močvara. In addition to the already mentioned very striking performances, they drew attention to themselves with the big hit “An Irish Pub Song”, which has more than 85 million views on YouTube. You must have heard it at least once in any rock listening room, and when St. Patrik, then it is almost impossible to avoid it.
The band members are: Mike Rivkees (vocals, acoustic guitar), Gabriel Whitbourne (guitar, backing vocals), Pietro Della Sala (drums), Adam Kenny – (mandolin, bouzouki, banjo, backing vocals), Johnny McKelvey (bass, backing vocals ).
