Cro-americana giants The Strange, to the joy of all lovers of quality music, announced their return to the stage of Zagreb’s Vintage Industrial Bar on Thursday, December 14. In the pre-holiday atmosphere of the last month of the year, The Strange will perform as part of the birthday program of the favorite concert club in Zagreb.

With a magical combination of masterfully played indie rock Americana and the distinctive vocals of frontman Chris Eckman, The Strange will provide visitors with another incredible musical experience.

For this occasion, the band will prepare a cross-section of numerous hits, starting with the last EP release “Not Now Not Ever”, released in August 2021, with which they revealed their more optimistic side. Then the repertoire will extend to already known songs from the acclaimed and award-winning releases “Nights of Forgotten Films”, the EP “Comin’ Undone” and the award-winning “Echo Chamber”, with which they confirmed their cult status.

The Strange is an internationally recognized band that has won the hearts of audiences around the world, and has been written about by prestigious music media such as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and Mojo. It was with the release of “Echo Chamber” that The Strange gained the sympathy of music critics and won numerous awards, which continued even later. For example, in 2022, they were nominated for the Rock&Off independent music award in the category of best rock artist, which they also won in 2019. In addition, The Strange can boast of a nomination for the prestigious IMPALA award for the best European independent album of the year. The band was also declared the winner of the International competition of the Croatian Society of Composers with the aim of promoting domestic music on the international market.
