For over 30 years, the Croatian rock scene, like a chainsaw, cuts and drinks Zabok pearl – ZADRUGA. Although they have four albums behind them, these four still delight the audience. The proverb is not without reason – ‘only the first four’. Let them whip you so maybe a new album will happen again.
FROM THE MEDIA:
‘What KUD Idijoti is for Istria, Hladno Pivo for Zagreb, Majke for Slavonia, Let 3 for Rijeka, it is Zadruga za Zagorje and it is a correlation within which one of the best Croatian rock bands should be understood’, Aleksandar Dragaš (Jutarnji list)
‘After the album‘ From Mud to Sky ’, the Cooperative has become one of the greatest hopes of Croatian rock’, Ante Batinović (Večernji list / HRT)
‘One of the rarely authentic domestic rock groups and a possible first-class ambassador of autochthonous Croatian rock expression outside our borders’, Siniša Bizović (Nedjeljni Vjesnik)
‘What pointed out the Cooperative as a top rock band from the first tone played was, primarily, their exceptional playing skills and careful design of the live performance,’ Darko Jerković (Glas Slavonije)
“The cooperative will thus remain true to its unique style and continue to prove that the true Kajkavian word is miles away from” Kaj nam moreju “and similar jumps from the” Krapina Festival “. Life, as the only real basis of rock ‘n’ roll, in their case comes to full expression ‘, Ante Perković (Slobodna Dalmacija)
BIOGRAPHY:
The rock band Zadruga was formed in Zlatar in 1990 when guitarist Krump, vocalist Kreš and drummer Jura decided to form a band after they already had several compositions of their own. After several performances and several changes (departures and arrivals) of band members, the first permanent line-up of the band consists of Krump, Kreš, Ivek and Žac with the constant accompaniment and support of Kore. With its demo and later studio releases, the Cooperative became part of the then Croatian alternative scene, which included Majke, Hladno pivo, Pips, Chip & Videoclips, Let 3, Overflow and others, and concerts in Croatia and Slovenia became more numerous.
In addition to 3 solo albums and one album created in collaboration, the songs of the Cooperative have been released on a dozen different compilations and occasional releases, and they are processed and played by many other artists.
Today, as in the previous ten years, the permanent line-up of the Cooperative consists of Krumpa, Kreš, Niđo and Ico, while Tihomir joins them at some concerts.
The first places on the top lists of rock performers in Croatia and Slovenia, the originality of rock expression and uncompromising live performances have secured the Cooperative a cult status on the domestic rock scene.
See you at VIB!
